Skiing Kindergarten

Hello parents and children,

We are pleased to inform you that we will continue to offer ski courses at the Krvavec ski resort this winter season, both for kindergarten children and primary school children. The courses are suitable for children from 3.5 years of age.

The courses will be held in small groups, which allows us to focus on each individual. We ensure that a beginner child learns to stop and turn independently during the course. Better skiers, and they will become even better :). The programme is continuously adapted to the children in the group, which allows learning in a fun and playful way.

The courses will be held in homogeneous groups, depending on previous skiing knowledge (test on day 1), which allows us to progress faster. Special emphasis is placed on ski safety in our school.

• There is no transport for children to the lower gondola station, parents/guardians will need to bring their children to the drive-in marked pick-up point in the upper car park (lower gondola station to Krvavec), where we will pick up the children and equipment from the teachers and take them to the ski slope (between 8.In addition, you will have to pick up your children at the same point after the course (two options, which you will mark when you register via our portal at 14.00 or 16.00). Between 14.00 and 16.00 we will also organise active childcare (extra charge EUR 20.00/day).
• Meals: children must have a snack with them every day in their backpack. We will provide a suitable place for children to eat their snacks in their bubbles. We will provide hot tea and water at the self-service machines. We will send you detailed recommendations after registration. It is also possible to order a hot snack with tea from one of the restaurant facilities (extra charge EUR 8.00/day).
• All children must follow the recommendations of the NIJZ in force at the time of the ski course.
• The course is only open to healthy children.
• Course payment must be paid at the time of registration (same day, otherwise the reservation is considered cancelled)

The course will be organised if there are at least 8 registered students.

The price includes: ski pass + ski instructor + medal + surprise.

Payment must be made to Jecom Sport d.o.o., Trnovlje 42, 4207 Cerklje; TRR SI56 6100 0002 4192 147 on the same day as the registration for the course (registration is required via the portal on the porta website).l.jecomsport.si ). Price includes: ski pass, ski instructor, tea, medal and surprise, storage of equipment, daily pictures on the on the jecomsport.si portal

In case of cancellation or sickness, a charge of EUR 150 per day will be applied. In case of no-show on the first day, a charge of EUR 150 will also be applied. This means that in practice, if the student is present for 3,4 or 5 days, no refund will be given. If the child is present for 2 days, we will refund EUR 50, and if the child is present for only 1 day, we will refund EUR 200. If you are registered and you are not present on the first day, and the student is not present for the next 4 days, we will refund EUR 200.

The course will be held in all weather conditions – it will only be cancelled in case of rain on the ski slope (notification by e-mail no later than 6:30).

During the course we offer free ski equipment rental (skis + poles + ski boots) for all our students. For the rental of other equipment (helmet, ski goggles, gloves, etc.), we offer – 50% on our regular price list.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION – equipment, course,…

Mandatory equipment – suitable and warm ski clothing, scarf is not recommended (for safety reasons), ski helmet, ski hat (optional), ski goggles, ski poles (beginners do not need ski poles and should not carry them), skis of suitable length and neatness (between the chin and the nose, beginners must have shorter skis – max up to chin), ski boots (pancars).

All equipment should be signed – abbreviations prominently displayed.

Children should arrive at the meeting point already wearing their pancars (they do not need to bring any other footwear). They should carry a backpack with their snacks. It is recommended that they are covered with sun cream or sunscreen. Those who do not have equipment will get it at the ski service in Krvavec. Rental of equipment (skis + poles + ski boots) during the term is free of charge for the students.

• 7.30-8:00 Arrival at the drive-in drop-off point for children (visible flag of our school)
• 8.00-8.15 departure from the lower station of RTC Krvavec
• 8:30 skiing
• 10:30-11.00 snack (children bring their own)+tea (provided by us) or hot meal with tea in one of the catering facilities (extra charge EUR 8.00/day)
• 11:15 skiing
• 13:30 Departure from the upper station of RTC Krvavec
• 14:00 Arrival at the lower station and drop-off at the drive-in pick-up point (option 1)
• 16.00 Arrival at the lower station and drop-off at the drive-in pick-up point (option 2), where we will have on-slope childcare with snow games, sledding, and the possibility of other games in our premises and other entertainment (extra charge EUR 20.00/day), must be pre-registered via our portal.
