Ski courses for pre-school children

Hello parents and children,

We are pleased to inform you that we will continue to offer ski courses at the Krvavec ski resort this winter season, both for kindergarten children and primary school children. The courses are suitable for children from 3.5 years of age.

The courses will be held in small groups, which allows us to focus on each individual. We ensure that a beginner child learns to stop and turn independently during the course. Better skiers, and they will become even better :). The programme is continuously adapted to the children in the group, which allows learning in a fun and playful way.

The courses will be held in homogeneous groups, depending on previous skiing knowledge (test on day 1), which allows us to progress faster. Special emphasis is placed on ski safety in our school.

• Transportation of children to the lower station of the gondola is not organized, parents/guardians will have to bring their children to the pick-up point marked drive-in in the upper parking lot (lower station of the gondola on Krvavec), where the children and equipment will be collected by the teachers, and together with them will go to the ski area (between 8:00 – 8:15). In addition, you will need to pick up your children at the same point after the course (two options, which you will tick when you register via our portal at 14:00 or 16:00). Between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. we will also organize active childcare (surcharge)
• Food: children must carry a snack in their backpack every day. We will provide a suitable place for children to eat it in their bubbles. We will provide hot tea and water at self-service machines. We will send you detailed recommendations after registration. It is also possible to order a hot breakfast with tea in one of the catering facilities (extra charge)
• All children must follow the recommendations of the NIJZ in force at the time of the ski course.
• The course is only open to healthy children.
• Course payment must be paid at the time of registration (same day, otherwise the reservation is considered cancelled)

Surcharge:

Extended care until 16:00 EUR 25.00/day
Hot meal with tea EUR 10.00/day

The course will be organised if there are at least 8 registered students.

The price includes: ski pass + ski instructor + medal.

Payment must be made to Jecom Sport d.o.o., Trnovlje 42, 4207 Cerklje; TRR SI56 6100 0002 4192 147 on the same day as the registration for the course (registration is required via the portal on the porta website).l.jecomsport.si ). If payment is not arranged on the same day as the course registration, the reservation will be cancelled.

In the event of cancellation or illness, the individual day is charged at the amount of EUR 200. In case of non-arrival on the first day, an amount of EUR 200 will also be charged. This means that in practice, if the student is present for 3,4 or 5 days, no refund will be given. If the child is present for 2 days, we will refund EUR 50, and if the child is present for only 1 day, we will refund EUR 200. If you are registered and you are not present on the first day, and the student is not present for the next 4 days, we will refund EUR 200.

The course will be held in all weather conditions – it will only be cancelled in case of rain on the ski slope (notification by e-mail no later than 6:30).

During the course we offer free ski equipment rental (skis + poles + ski boots) for all our students. For the rental of other equipment (helmet, ski goggles, gloves, etc.), we offer – 50% on our regular price list.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION – equipment, course,…

Mandatory equipment – suitable and warm ski clothing, scarf is not recommended (for safety reasons), ski helmet, ski hat (optional), ski goggles, ski poles (beginners do not need ski poles and should not carry them), skis of suitable length and neatness (between the chin and the nose, beginners must have shorter skis – max up to chin), ski boots (pancars).

All equipment should be signed – abbreviations prominently displayed.

Children should come to the meeting place already wearing wellies (they do not need other shoes with them). They should have a backpack with a snack. It is recommended that they be smeared with sunscreen or protective cream. Those who do not have equipment can get it at the ski service in Krvavec. Rental of equipment (ski poles, ski boots) during the term is free for students.

• 7.30-8:00 Arrival at the drive-in drop-off point for children (visible flag of our school)
• 8.00-8.15 departure from the lower station of RTC Krvavec
• 8:30 skiing
• 10:30-11:00 a.m. snack (the children take it with them), tea (we will provide it) or a warm meal with tea in one of the catering facilities (extra charge)
• 11:15 skiing
• 13:30 Departure from the upper station of RTC Krvavec
• 14:00 Arrival at the lower station and drop-off at the drive-in pick-up point (option 1)
• 4:00 p.m. arrival at the lower station and drop off of children at the drive-in pick-up point (option 2), where we will have childcare on the ski slope with games on the snow, sledding, and the possibility of other games in our premises and other animation (extra charge), mandatory prior registration via our portal.
